Service Contract Administrator
Our service operations team are based out of Abingdon, the hub of communication between Miele Professional and its customers, both business and consumer. Communication is via telephone, e-mail, letter, face to face and emerging technologies.
We have a temporary role available to cover a period of maternity leave, working 27hours per week on a 12month fixed term contract.
The purpose and responsibilities of this role
The key purpose of the role is to administer contract renewals, plan annual maintenance visits for technicians and Miele Service Providers, and optimise the capacity of the dedicated maintenance technician teams.
- To act as ambassadors to the Company’s customers with professional and premium customer handling skills
- To perform all administrative tasks connected to customer contracts. This includes but is not limited to new and contract renewals, maintenance orders and invoicing
- To resolve customer enquiries from initial contact through to successful conclusion
- To deliver against the current KPI’s in line with the Miele vision and purpose
- To work within legal, policy, and procedural parameters that govern practices within the Service Back Office team.
You will be IT literate and have a understanding of CRM systems, with the ability to take detailed case information from both online portals and emails or via the telephone, ensure that issues are logged, and then deploy to the relevant technician. This is a task that will involve a level of technical and geographical understanding to ensure that the relevant technician is selected and to ensure that the task is seen through to completion.
Your customer service interactions will have the customer at the heart of what you do so that we are always fulfilling our commitment to them. In addition, you will be involved in regular customer interactions to maintain relationships that may relate to the registration of extended warranty.
You will be asked to demonstrate
- Experience of working in a similar environment that incorporates strong organisation and administration skills
- A customer focused approach where you understand multi channel communication and can provide an exceptional service with examples of managing a range of internal and external service providers or stakeholders
- Be confident to challenge when necessary and build rapport and trust to drive credibility and confidence to our customers
- Strong team work and commitment to succeed
- Have a passion and pride that matches the premium nature of our brand with a good understanding of Miele Professional
