Executive Assistant to our Managing Director
We’re hiring an Executive Assistant to support our Managing Director and Leadership team here in Abingdon, Oxfordshire for a twelve month maternity cover period.

In your new role…
You’ll report into the Managing Director of Miele GB, Ireland and South Africa and work closely with the wider Leadership Team.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Providing high-level administrative support to the Managing Director and Leadership Team, including diary management, meeting coordination, and minute-taking.
- Supporting strategic business initiatives and change projects through effective project coordination and stakeholder engagement.
- Managing all aspects of company travel and accommodation, including relationships with travel providers and hotel partners.
- Overseeing the operations of Café 1899, our in-house catering facility, including hospitality for events and executive visits.
- Coordinating factory visits to Germany and employee travel logistics.
- Handling confidential correspondence, legal document processing, and internal communications.
- Ensuring smooth execution of high-profile events such as the Annual Service Conference and visits from Miele’s Executive Board.
You’ll need...
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or executive assistant role, ideally supporting C-suite leaders.
- Exceptional organisational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong project coordination experience and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and travel booking systems.
- A high level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail.
You’ll join us at our Abingdon HQ, working with the Leadership Team to ensure the smooth running of executive operations and strategic initiatives.

What to expect from us:
In addition to a strong commitment to your personal development and growth, we can offer you a salary of up to £40,000 plus a competitive benefit package. The role is Monday to Friday, 37.5hours a week on a hybrid working pattern.
