Cem's shares why she recommends a career in sales at Miele
What is your career journey to where you are now with Miele?
In April 2016 I joined Miele covering the South East region of ERT accounts, it was a fantastic way to break my teeth on a rather challenging set of dealers. Just over a year later, I was promoted to the glamourous world of London Key accounts in the Kitchen retail side. It was interesting to see the stark changes between the types of routes to market and also the fact that they were selling kitchens at a value of £250,000 (woah!). After 2.5 years here, I wanted to test my skill set and gain some cross functional knowledge in marketing, I joined the marketing team as a product manager in Kitchens. It gave me a clear route on end to end of the sales & marketing process. Here I am in 2023, nearly 7 years into my fantastic journey at Miele as a Field Sales Manager for the South, heading up a multi-talented team.
What made you want to join Miele in sales?
The amazing products (of course!), as well as the fantastic ethos & family focus.
What do you like most about working at Miele GB?
There are far too many to list, I have loved seeing the changes the businesses have gone through! I have been on the best career path here with a lot of support from across the business. The teams at Miele must be mentioned, everyone is truly passionate about the product and their personal role to get the spaceship moving faster!
What advice would you give to someone thinking of joining Miele
