MD John Pickering shares his thoughts about life at Miele
Tell us about your career journey to where you are today?
I started my career in Private banking as a Graduate Trainee, moving to Mars, Kraft and Sara Lee in sales & strategy roles that were local and global in responsibility, latterly working in Switzerland. I worked as a General Manager for Mars in Ireland for 4 years before returning to the UK and working for Miele.
I was attracted by the values of the Miele business, the incredible quality and heritage, combined with a desire for rapid evolution.
