Sam shares her passion for working at Miele Professional
"Well, where do I start. I actually have a degree in Fashion Design specialising in womenswear and digital print – so Miele is a far cry away from where I imagined I would be 15 years ago. That being said, Miele is exactly where I was meant to be!"
I started at Miele in the customer support team and I quickly learned how special Miele was so jumped at the opportunities to progress. I worked within the contact centre for 4 years in various roles until the opportunity to join Miele Professional presented itself.
I began my journey in Miele Professional as a marketing executive on a maternity cover contract 4 years ago. As the person who’s role I was covering came back I went on maternity leave myself and I feel very lucky that it turned into a permanent job share position on my return.
I was promoted to marketing manager for Miele Professional GB & IE earlier this year and this is a role that I am really enjoying.

Working within the marketing team within Miele Professional is very unique as we cover such a vast spectrum of activities and have quite a lot of freedom at a local level due to differing markets. I feel proud to work for the GB team as we are often looked at as paving the way for other markets.
Also, as a working mother I feel very supported to be able to be successful in my career without having to compromise my family values. Miele are a great employer who put importance on work/life balance!
